Erik Brynjolfsson

 

Erik (pictured left) is an American academic. After graduating from Harvard, he went on to earn a Ph.D. in Managerial Economics from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is known for his research and works on the economics of information.

Andrew McAfee

 

Andrew (pictured right) is an American academic and current associate director of the Center for Digital Business at the MIT Sloan School of Management. He received his Doctorate from the Harvard School of Business.

Erik Brynjolfsson and Andrew McAfee have collaborated prior to the release of The Second Machine Age. They co-authored Race Against the Machine: How the Digital Revolution is Accelerating Innovation, Driving Productivity, and Irreversibly Transforming Employment and the Economy, where they explored information technology's affects on the modern job market.
